Anyway just wanna say Tara mantra , medicine Buddha mantra and etc as long as u learn can chant and no need master teach approve;
Master , who is master actually? Well master is Buddha himself;
Buddha share mantra is to allow all people chant; is human go make it to secret this is explained also by most respectable monk before to many;
Ego also a obstacles to practice; ego is like u learn and do more prayers and know how to chant a lot u start to think u more power; sometimes when a person learn a lot pattern prayers become a ritual and not from heart; and u chant one million times with a lot prayers gestural is not powerful than a market Aunty who knows nothing and chant one time namo amitabha ; so keep things simple
Also I once ask many rinpoche the precious monk from old time and now , they say can chant!
Also I was given the oral transmission direct by the 80 years old rinpoche and say ok to chant;
He says Buddha compassion , where can not let people chant; all those who half pass six , listen certain prayers need master teach are this high level yoga prayers ; chant mantra are ok for 慈悲观音法门; don't confuse and lead people wrongly;
Oh anything not me , u all talk to my five temple head and master from Tibet, Singapore and Nepal and China;
